There are bushings in the linkage so you are probably correct.
If you grab the shifter it goes away correct? Happened on my 190 & 220, and it is annoying.

Check your flex disks.

does your shifter feel sloppy.. or does there seem to be play even if you have it in gear?
shifter in drive, but you can move the shifter up a little bit?
if so, shifter bushing. kind of a bitch to replace though.

yea i have a lil play even when in gear. it shouldnt be my flex disc. i had that replaced a few months ago. replacing my flex disc made a HUGE difference. tranny shifts so much smoother n very smooth deceleration. i thought my tranny was about to give out because it felt like it was slipping. it turns out it was a worn flex disc.
