My C280 is H7s

You can check on the headlight lense and in your manual..

the book says h7 but mine are h4. they have dual filament for low and high beam. i have a 96 c280. and the lights closer to the grill are the foglights. i've seen a lot of threads about this. seems like it varies for some people. best thing is to just take out your old bulb you got in there right now and take a look at it and see what size it is. hope that helps

And my Australian spec 1996 C36 are H1s. Recommend that you remove your bulbs and check what you actually need...

In Europe older than 97 have got H1/H1/H3 (low/high/fog) and newer have H7/H1/H3.

My US 95 C220 has 9003/H4

My 94 C280 also has 9003/H4...I want something brighter without spending hundreds of dollars
