Did you guys know that you can get real MB technical/workshop info from www.startekinfo.com?

STAR TekInfo covers repair and service information for Mercedes-Benz passenger cars and light trucks beginning with Model Year 1994.

Its only $18.00 for 24 Hours / 1 - Day Access subscription.

The best part is using the Workshop Information System (WIS-net). This is an indexed library of MB repair and maintenance information (with part numbers). It runs as a java application on your desktop.

I have adobe acrobat installed so I use my 24 hours printing/saving all the info I want directly to PDF!. You just type in your vin, select your info groups and search on any keyword.

The app even gives you the doument number for any preceding work you need to do.

For example:

Replace a poly-v belt.
Preceding work : vicous fan clutch removed (20-3120)

Its a DIY heaven!

Hey Nenad, do you like Alldata? I've never used it before but I'm thinking about it for my home shop. I'm just wondeing if ot would be any better, or different than the factory stuff. WIS is usually pretty vague. Thanks.....

actually, alldata is based on WIS. LOL
I use both alldata and mitchell1, sometimes one has the info I need, sometimes the other one has it.
and sometimes none of them have it, so then I contact you. :D
