ok so you do this to fix a power hole in the rev band... but is there even a similar problem on our 202's in the first place?

The instructions for rellocation seem to have originated from a SLK owners website.
It also seems other owners have done the maf relocation in connection with pully upgrades, would this be the only grounds for doing it on our car..?

if it is a issue on our saloon/sedans it would be worth doing.. but What exactly is going on for moving the maf closer to the tb and changing it to horizontal posistioning!!

If it is worth doing I need to know how 23K did his one ... is it comming straight off the IC outlet, if not how did he over come the Clips left over on the up pipe from the IC?

His picture doesnt seem that way, it looks like hes cut the pipe down to get rid of the MAF clips.. just looking for confimaiton here

What diameter is the piping

hey man,got your pm,
I was under the impression the relocation was only nessesary if you increase boost pressure...as the increase caused turbulance from the IC which affected the MAS readings...

has sombody dyno proven the relocation to be benifical on a stock engine?

mines constructed from the IC all the way up...theres no OEM parts left....its not hard to construct the same setup with a few alloy bends...and as samco have plenty of nice tappered silicon right angle etc to go from the IC outlet to the mass size its even easier!...

thanks!...that setups now obsolete,as im halfway through a custom intake manifold;)
