im reading all this bashing of koni yellows and stuff, just wondering if anyone ever tried the fsds.

http://www.koni-fsd.com/

i want good handling but i dont wana loose the ride quality. these seem to be exactly that.

also just wondering, anyone ever put nitrogen into their tires? does it actually give better ride quality?

I read about these a long time ago and was quite interested in them. The reviewers had pretty good things to say.

I am not sure if there are W202 applications though.

edit: I have no problems with my Koni yellows. Waay better than stocks.

I've also the koni yellow (the externally adjustable model) but I feel the ride quite harsh:( They are settet to lowest stiffening.

Do you think that my feeling is due to the koni or the H&R spring?

...since I'm wondering to keep the koni and put back the factory "elegance" spring!!

thanks a lot

PS: the ride in the corner is like a train:eek:

I've got Koni non-external adjustables with H&R springs, set to full hard. I agree that the ride is harsh, but they are sport springs and sport shocks. On highway cruising on smooth roads it is excellent, just like stock. On rough roads you feel them all, but it gives that "sports" car feel IMHO.

Are you also running 18's with low profile tires?

Wow! My ride must be super harsh than your current setup. Im on 18's with 40 and 35 series profile tires.

I guess the engine helps me overlook the ride. :D
