well well well how can I find out if my wheel bearings need to be replaced?

It there any how-to's for what to do to change them myself?

yeah do the search, rear wheel bearings are tough and need a special tool. ANd front wheel bearings should last the life of the car.

But if you decide you need to do front bearings respond back and I'll post my experience doing them. Not real hard but some special tools that are easy to get, brass hammer and punches, special metal disc for hammering in new outter bearings and grease seal - some say to use old bearings but I didn't like that. And I need to use a dial gauge to get the right tightness - my first experience with a dial gauge deciding on type of mount and graduation for gauge along with a reasonable price - took some study which I can share.
