Quick question...

I have a 94 C280 with the bose...I recently upgraded my HU with a pioneer unit...the unit sounds great and works great but after I installed the unit the all of the dash lights stopped working, even the cluster lights...I am an experienced stereo installer and went over my work over and over thinking I disconnected a wire or left a wire loose...nothing was loose...I checked all of the fuses and all of them are good...is the a relay somewhere for the dash lights? Another question, not related...my power lock do not work is ther a relay for that one somewhere? Thanks..

not really experinced enough to offer a solution.. but just one simple thing you might not of checked.. do they come back with the unit removed from the equation?

Just tried it...and no they do not come back when the HU is taken out...

are the bulb elements still in one peice?

Did you check all the fuses?

Hi,

Check the Fuse box another time in Engine bay, and the Grey/blue wires behind your head unit.

The Grey/blue wires are the ones for illumination.

Tell us something, is it only the lighting of the clock that doesn't work, or you can't see any numbers on this LCD ?

I have check the fuses... all are good...all of the lcd backlights work except for the outside temp lcd...non of the dash lights work though...
