Hey im very new to this, I’ve searched and really didn’t find much, but my dad gave me his 99 c230 kompressor recently, but his wife got into a accident with the car, and after that the horn doesn’t work. Anyone have any ideas on where it’s located or what I can do. Even aftermarket wize?

located on the lower part of the radiator support in front of the airbox. it's not easy to find with the airbox in, or the front bumper on, but its easy enough to check the wires by touch once you find the horn. if i recall its connected by two wires, i'm assuming one is an accesory and one is a ground

Replace what with what? like i said before im very new to this, and the w202s........your talking to a guy who use to only deal with american muscle cars. lol i just found out today to do any kinda of engine work you have to take the whole front end off. So any kind of help you guys offer me i'd really appreciate it. Theres a few other stuff im kind of confused about mainly with the whole airbox s/c deal (yes i know kind of off topic). Theres two hoses to the airbox, and i want to put a cold air intake, i've found a kit for it. http://www.globalautoshop.com/accessories/automotive/benz_applications/c_w202.htm. but im a lil hasty on doing it.

Does the Airbag light work like it should? Wiring in my airbag was broken, and because of that also horn was dead. The signal goes in the same wire to the horn and the airbag.

bma parts about 15-18 bux a side i changed mine just by turning the wheel all the way out and laying on my back to get to the horn assembly.. you just unplug it and unbolt it.. i call bma all the time without part numbers i just tell them i have this car and need this part.

hmmm sounds like a job for the good ol volt meter, and let someone press the horn to see if its a wire loose in the steering wheel, but can i ask which side? i was looking up some info on it and there seems to be 2. im guessing 1 is for the panic button?
