Ive had this silly thing in the garage for years, got bored a week ago and put it on. Got if second hand from someone that didnt even know what engine it was for. (apparently it isnt for mine either.) Had to do some fabricating to get it to work. Its silly loud, and the blow off noise is loud too. Seems like its faster. I notice quite a bit of difference accually. Im sure that will change when summer rolls back around but I dont think I could stand the noise for that long. Supercharger whine is LOUD.

MIne is kinda like that, but a bit more finished when that. In teh pic i have attached its in teh short ram form, but now i have it in the cold air since it has stopped raining for the most part in florida. But for most of the year, it like you see. Oh, and the crankcase breather i have attached one of those small filter things so i dont have to deal with all that tubind crap.

Here is an interesting thread that just started in regard to 2.3 Kompressor engines and whether they benefit from upgraded filter systems:

I have felt quite the opposite, i feel more low end torque. But i made sure the placement of the filter was good and all that. I dont know but i like it with the cold air intake, but thats just me.
PS, i like the whine.
