honestly that looks like the most dangerous modification i have every seen. I pulley being held in place by a few screws. Talk about lawsuit waiting to happen. I cannot believe they are trying to charge $400+ for that, thats insane.

I agree. And you should be very careful when it comes to modds like this one, you dont just have to own the part and thats it.

For this example, the n/a models crank pulley is set to supress vibration in the 320-360Hz, where as the 230K pulley has ~280-310Hz. This is done due to the difference in compression etc, and could also be different between the manual and automatic models due to the clutch setup. These Hz values are stamped on the pulley though... This being universal, makes it a piece of s**t pulley to buy and a certain disaster. Glad you asked.

the HZ has nothing to do with the problem of this pulley, its just a disaster waiting to happyen b/c they try and attach it to a stock pulley instead of properly designing a whole new pulley. don't buy that pulley i garentee it will destroy your engine (along with everythign else in your engine bay once that pulley breaks loose at 6000rpm)

Piece of shit! Don't buy it! This is a press on pulley on your existing pulley. It would not stay! It will slip under stress.

If you are looking at cheap horsepower increase, contact ASP racing. They are specialized in pullies only. I upgraded my Dad's W203 KOmpressor with ASP pulley, the power is a day and night difference! The cost? Under $800 for 30hp gain!!!!!!
