Hey guys,

Great news, I found out that I will be able to make a M104 crankshaft pulley after all :) . Now the only thing is to make sure there is enough demand. For those of you interested (please serious people only), simple vote yes, for the others that state no, state why. Thanks guys Hopefully I can make this dream become a reality for all of us.

The pulley won't be on the market till after X-mas, right now i'm working on the V6 & V8 models.

Price shoudl be around the $349 range for about 15HP (crank or wheels depending on how much i can reduce the weight by. gains could be as high as 18-21 crank HP b/c of how heavy the stock M104 pulley is). This is for STOCK DIAMETER so no underdriven accessories (which I HATED on my BMW). This is literally a simple bolt on (all it takes is undo one bolt, the crankshaft bolt. However, this take a long 4-6 foot breaker bar so it is recommended to take this to a shop most probably to install. Im not sure on the labor but it shouldn't be more than 1-2 hour job.

I'm trying to finally get some M104 parts out on the market. I am also in the works on a M104 header but I would need an aftermarket set to work with and the chances of finding one are very slim to none.

Anyways I want to see if the demand is there just so its worth while. thanks guys

I assume you are talking about your C43, yes I am coming out with C43 pulley, stock diameter of course. gains for the V8's I am hoping for about 12-15HP. for the 6-cyl V's im aiming for 10-12HP. For M104 and 230K engines the gains may actually be higher than both anywhere from 15-21HP depending. anyways should be interesting to see what happens, im very excited, I should have a new website up soon hopefully. thx

omeyhomey
02-22-2007, 03:15 PM
Yes, it is currently in the prototype phase and i should have the prototype done by spring break. The pulley should be ready for production by april/may at the latest. Thanks guys for your patience, I won't let you guys down :D .

Good to see that there is real progress with these cp's...

If you get any dyno numbers backing up your hp claims, we may purchase two.

I will of course have dyno's to back up the CPs. only reason i can't dyno the 230k headers is I do not have a 230k.

Pulleys should generate healthy gains and they are typically the best "torque mod" you can do. M104 should generate the highest % power of all the headers believe it or not so im really exicted to see what those headers can do. anyways ttyl

I will absolutely buy one. i have a couple of questions tho... surely the factory makes the pulley a certain weight for a reason? will it compromise reliability at all (as i drive my car very hard)? thirdly, how do i get one? i.e. where are you based?

Yes the factory does make it a certain weight for a reason, cast steel is dirt cheap, machined aluminum is $$$$. No this pulley will NOT compromised reliability or driveability, infact you won't even noticed a difference except the big increase in power. I designed the pulley specifically for Mercedes drivers b/c i know they would not like to make sacrifices in reliability and creature comforts (such as A/C, engine temp, cooling, power steering, and alternator power). most aftermarket crank pulleys are underdriven and non-harmonic balanced (NOT GOOD!). The pulleys will be availible soon, when they are I will make a public announcement. Thanks for your interest :)

yes there will be, few modifications had to be done to prototype I should be getting it VERY soon. Should hopefully be on sale before the holiday season. It will definitely be the best of all the pulleys as far as % performance gains so I am really excited to get it out there. Thanks and have a nice day

yup, straight, not V6

dfudes i'm all pumped up about this. my m104 is just sitting outside waiting to go into my car, and I can't think of a better upgrade to it while it's still out of the engine (oh and let's not forget omeyhomey's headers he promised us)
