Thanks for telling me!

I want to keep forum members updated with HPS. Even though the Motor Trend article was in the past. I thought it would be fun for anyone to read.

HPS, the best way for members of the CLUB to stay updated with the stuff you got going on, is to be an active member of the forum by sharing your knowledge of motor building/performance.

Sporatic postings of Hey there strange ppl I dont communicate with you on a daily basis but visit my site because I want you to give me your money doesnt help the members nor the site much.

But by coming here every day and reading the post and helping out, now that will want to keep members updated with what you got going on. Because you have done what? .... formed a relationship with the members that, in the end, will differentiate you from the competition.

nokia8860,

Thank you for suggestions!

You’re looking at least 4-5 hours a day, to be active on a daily basis on these forums. And I’m afraid I only have 30-45 minutes a day. So I’m doing the best I can.

I wouldnt want someone that thinks they may cause damage to my vehicle, supercharging my vehicle as well.

Doest sit right. But glad HPS to the time out of his day to clear that up. :bandit:

HPS really needs to spend more money on public relations and marketing. At this rate they are making themselves look like a 2 bit company. Just step away from the computer HPS. Step away.

Nok,

Ok my error, our company has three licenses Mercedes-Benz mechanics with over 20 years experience that can answer any questions you might have. But what will this solve? I’m a sales and marketing guy, whom knows the HPS system inside and out and will not comment on a non-vehicle or products that we don’t carry. I think that’s very noble being honest, if you have a questions about a non-supercharger product, I can find the answer for you.

I due appreciate your suggestions on marketing and pr.

Then would you kindly ask them to help us with this post

All I'm saying is you just cant post junk about what your company did and expect ppl to want to take interest. You need to build relationship with members of the site. The members here are here to learn, this is not some commercial board for companies to make a dime off.

Ahhh.. it would give you and your company actual credibility in the eyes of this member. Further it would help other Mercedes enthusiast and backyard mechanics which would give you some reppor with the members of this and other sites...which may in turn make us more confortable buying a product from someone who we feel actually cary about our little community here...

Good idea, very shortly I'll create an HPS tech thread, with one of mechanic replying to members questions.

Actually, I wish to retract my prediction, as that is simply what I have observed from what is posted by the M104 owners. I wouldn't want to be even partially responsible just in case there is a kit available one day but not a lot of customers. :o

I would so buy their charger system if I knew they were a company that knew what they are doing. Right now I dont know and from what Ive seen I wouldnt buy their stuff.

It's all about credibility. And right now they give me no reason to give them my money. So I hope HPS isnt taking it like im trying to diss them. Honestly I dont know HPS and just hope they would use this oppertunity for the members here to get to know them that way if they decided to support our cars with products we would feel comfortable buying from them.

Totally agreed on the above statement. Lots of posting and flaming but got no other proof of a customer stating their satisfaction of HPS product. Lots of magazine exposure sure it's marketing and advertisement to let the world know that you exist.
Now it's about time to show some money worth modding of the product.... :o  :bored: :bored:

Here is a quick question:

That article is from two years ago, what have you done in those two years to improve upon the super charger? Have you improved anything, or just expanded the offerings to different models?

One thing that I feel has been an empty promise is that HPS has promised that their "satisfied customers" would join the forum boards and share their experiences with us, but I have yet to see one do so to date.

I recall back that there was a C43 owner that HPS promised us would join the boards and share their testimonial with us. I would love to hear what real customers have to say about the product. I understand that the customers are probably really busy with their jobs and families, but I feel that there's a chance they might benefit from the boards with the great technical advice as well as differentiated opinions that make a community.

There's this one guy from Madrid w/ the twin kleemann turbochargers that are hidden under the green thing because Spanish Transportation Dept. doesn't allow modding or something. Vrooo vrooommm

edit: edited quoting to be cool.

Sf280,

In the last 2 years we upgraded the electronic and mechanical fuel management devices. Smaller pulley to generate boost from 4-4.75, Instrument both vehicles using an Air/fuel ratio and data acquisition system for measurements. It is a multiplexed data acquisition system. It’s the only system that includes data acquisition with temperature compensated air fuel ratio measurements. This system provides 19 channels of data acquisition, 14 are programmable analog inputs: Voltage, pressure, temperature, TPS, MAF, and etc. Not to mention a temperature compensated lambda probes and displays the air fuel ratio. Polished the exterior hardware, bolts, hardware and etc.

Interesting fact our 2000 E430 sport vehicle used during the performance test by Motor Trend magazine only had 8,000 miles log on. Since then over 52,000 miles have been added without swamping or replacing a new supercharger. Not to mention back in February we ran a dyno run, generating over 100+ horsepower and torque on the same kompressor http://www.myhps.com/e430/e430dyno.html

These are only a few points off the top of my head.

Luwin,

Our client has not register on BNZSPORT. If you been following the C43 thread, Denlasoul a current member has talked with him and trying to arrange a test drive.

I will do my best to have current HPS customers come online.

Thank you for your suggestions.

To add, I will do a write up about my impression and experience. Like all of you, I want to get the first-hand experience and pass on the information.

As most of you know, I have been looking over s/c systems for my car. My decision will be based on several aspects. After I meet with the s/c C43 owner, I will have an idea of where HPS stands.
