This has been happening since i had it. It is getting annyoing now( especially when I have it turned up). Whenever a cell phone rings near my car. I get a dut..dut,dut,dut.... like a damn radar dector. The car originally came with a radio cancelling cell phone( the volume would go down when the cell rang). But I now have an aftermarket deck in it & it still does it. It's getting fucking annoying.

Anyone have a problem like this & a way to solve it. Never seen shit like what this does. I could get it on video & post it.

TIA

its just interference, if your phone is near your computer or other speakers of some sort (tv etc) it will do the same thing.

its been happening to me too, like next to my alarm clock in my room my phone would be charging - all the sudden in the middle of the night id hear that 'dut dut dut ' , 2 seconds later my phone would recieve text message. its kinda creepy hearing it in the middle of the night.

yeah i suffer from that too, just dont have the cell near the radio....find another place for it, or get a signal absorber and stick it on ur cell....(looks ugly but it works)

Just dont have you phone in the tape cubby or anything like that. I have it on my lap and it doesnt do it. BUt when i got my JVC HU is stoped almost all together though, and i think the amps help filter it out to.

Thats the problem. It isnt just my cell phone. It can be cell phones from other people, in cars next to me, ect...

Been looking online for a filter or something but have come up empty.
