whats up everybody. im new here to the forum and also a new owner of a 97 c280. my cousin gave it to me for FREE! =)) anyways i have this faded USC sticker on the back windshield and im been working at trying to get it off. ive researched around and cant seem to find one that works. i heard that using a blade is a best but i dont want to scratch in window or cut the defroster sensors. thx for any advice you guys can give me.

I have used Goof Off, but I think WD40 works the best...

if you happen to have lighter fluid laying about, that works well too.

goof off and goo gone are both citrix acid based (yep, made from oranges, lemons, and grapefruit).

they're less harsh than gasonline, nail polish remover and such, and if it drips, i'd rather have that on the rear deck than WD-40 since it sounds like the sticker is on the inside.

the sticker is on the outside. anyways i bought a can of wd40 and i was using my fingernail to try and get it off. but it was taking forever. is there any tools i can use to make this quicker?

use a hairdryer first to soften the glue, then use WD40

if it's on the outside, just use a razorblade. the window defroster path is on the inside of the glass on all cars, and even though is seems like it would scratch the glass, a straight edge razor should take it off clean with no issues.
