Original CD player - problem

Hi all.

I have a 98 230K T. The cd-player is the original Mercedes unit, and I want to keep it. However it will not load the cd´s, and keep shoving them out!?

Sometimes - it will load the cd, but it takes a lot op tries. I tried putting in an cd-claener. Dod not work.

Any ideas?

Most likely the changer is shot. What kind of CD's are you trying to play? Burned, or regular ones? It is pretty common for the CD changers to just quit working.

If the changer is junk, I've got one laying around here that's all your's for 150$ shipped......that is if you're stateside. Was working when pulled.

Do you have a picture of it.

I dont know which model mine is - it just says Mercedes. 150 is maybe a little steep, but maybe we can figure something out.
