im getting a 1996 c220 but im wondering how the maintainance will be? as far as parts and minor things also basic tune up?
because i'm a honda guy and moving to benz ...
let me know some information thanks! w202 owners!~
I got a 96 C280 about 6 mos. ago. It was in good shape with fairly low miles, but there were/are some minor issues with it.
I spent too much money on replacing a duovalve, or that would have been under $200. And that was the most expensive fix for me.
I need to figure out why my dash tweeters don't work. I still have the stock bose and it's lookin' janky. I lose taillight bulbs at a strangely high rate. Something is wrong with the brakes on the left front wheel. I just lost a door contact switch.
That's my entire bitch list right there. If you knew how to take good care of your Honda, you shouldn't have any problems with your Mercedes. DIYs are on par with the difficulty of Hondas or easier. It's just that parts are more expensive IF you go to a dealer. Parts are almost always available online and cheaper. You're gonna love the car!
