Sorry if I'm late. Yea, I've seen those LED wheels before. Pretty cool idea, but not for a Merc tho. It looks pretty hot on this bike:

One-offs for a show car? Great for looks but I don't see how they would be practical for real-world. The brake dust would be a bitch and I bet you would have serious brake/bearing cooling issues.

Very, um, trippy. I guess you'd have to remove them every time you washed your car, in order to clean the brake dust and grime from the other side though... I guess that would kind suck..

They'd look pretty cool on a show car or whatever.. At least until everyone else shows up wit 'em.

there is no way you can have ventilation for the brakes... it is all show no go!

To show off a big brake system like that, there is no better way. For a braking company, i.e. bremobo, thats a great way to showcase a product. As everday practicality, no so much. Brake dust would build up quick, and you will end up with a "tinted" wheel.

yea I saw them at SEMA, its mainly for show cars. I couldnt even fit my finger between the tire and the fender, all show. But still cool. Does anyone know how strong they are?

These wheels were on display at SEMA on a Ferarri. These wheels are $15000 for the set and are not released for another couple of months to the general public.

aside from the brake dust problem. it's gonna look sick at night time while the rotor heats up and you see growing circles

I dont think rotors grow to much, glow maybe. Im just giving you a hard time, i know what you ment, and ya that would look sick, but they would glow for some time unless you have ducted air, something to think about if for some reason you decide to get them for 15g.

those are really tight, some wheel well lights would be a good match. on another note, y's a nice new s class sittin outside a building like that?

If the rotors ever got hot enough to glow, the heat they would radiate would warp the polycarb big-time. Especially since the wheels don't provide any ventilation.

Maybe because there is a sign on the fence that looks like it says "Scam Master." Ok, maybe it really says "Seam Master" but... ;)
