C230k Brakes

Hello,
I have a 99 C230K, and today I noticed that the brake warning light came on every time I depressed the brake pedal.

My questions:

Can I use ceramic brake pads with the stock rotors without any problems?

Are the front brakes the only ones with sensors?

I can change the oil, plugs, filters etc, should I be able to tackle this job on my own?

Any gotchas?

23k has custom brembo rotors not sure what pads though... check out his thread in the 'Suspension' part of the forum..
