i'm planning on buying a lowering springs for my 95' C220 with 17" wheels, but i always noticed with people who has lowering springs such as (H&R) they always look "lower" on the rear, which makes it look like the front is lifted. (which is weird look) IMO...

what causes that?

what what springs should i get that won't do that...???

On my car it does look lower in the rear but its not. If you look at the sill youll notice that the car is the same hight front and rear but the front wheel arches are cut higher to accomadate the turning of the front wheels. So next time you see car look close at the wheel wells and youl notice the front is cut higher.

as suggested, the wheel arches are larger in the front than the rear. if you wanted to accomodate this for looks, you would want to use thicker spring pads in the rear, and #1 pads up front. you can actually double stack pads in the rear, just do a search on the forums for double stack pad and you'll find a few threads created by a member named J Irwan
