Low beam is projector lens, below that is high beam, next to projector is fog light and that little one in the corner is parking (or city) light.

I'll take several pictures with heads installed, don't worry, that will be by the end of next week, I can't wait till then too.

I have to tell you guys, the only thing I suspect is some kind of plastic material instead of glas (outside cover) and I really dunno how it's gonna look like when it lights on the road, I hope that I won't disturb other drivers...

And yes, those are 6PINs connectors heads.

what's the size of the low beam bulb then? right now for oem i have a H4 for both high and low. so that would mean it's a different bulb right?

grga
12-07-2006, 09:41 PM
Low beam H7, high beam H1, fog light H3, parking light W5W.

Btw, do you guys know exact size of 3rd brake light? Can't pull out that bulb, I'd like to replace it for some LED bulb...

Isn't the little section under the low beam the Fog light and next to the projector is the High? and What exactly is the little circle? a blinker?

Someone finally bought one of these Headlights on this forum! Would like to see the results and the lighting of this product! Something new! Yay.

Nope, order is just like on OEM headlights and wecan conclude this by a bulb types. Could anyone tell me what exact type of bulb is in 3rd brake light?

I simply can't remove it from housing.

There were some vehicles before mine...

But, headlights are installed, just came from my mechanic.
Information?
They look AWESOME!!!

However, projector is low beam, next to the projector is high beam and below projector is fog light...

Pics will be available next week, probably tuesday, I can't wait too.

Hm, it seems that this is gonna be a potential trouble for me.

Bulbs for low beam aren't strong enough (we tried only in garage so this has to be taken with some reserve) and I should buy some new bulbs. There is almost no light 2m in front of the car, that is maybe usual for projector type headlights, dunno.

What do you guys recommend in that case, it's H7 bulbs.

generally, projectors. see, u have double layers of lens and the cut-off shield for the light to pass through.

im REALLY curious to see how the beam-patterns for your projectors are.

PLEASE make sure you take a picture inside your car facing towards a wall with your lights (projector) on. lets say around a good 6-7 meters.

Beam-pattern(s) is EXCELLENT, looks like cuted with knife, very sharp edge between light and darkness. I'm just worried because od pretty weak light output but I think it's bulbs issue.

yes it looks weak because your running halogens. HID's is a must, ull be hard time illuminating the road.

nice if u have a sharp cut off. but we'll have to see the left and right sides.

Yep, very sharp cut off (with that "multicolor redbluishviolet line" between dark and light side.
I think that Osram (Sylvania) Silverstar +50% will solve that, at least temporary, until I get some more money to buy BOSCH HID Conversion Kit from ebay.

The new lights look sweet man. I was wondering though, what year is your car? And if it is a 98 or newer do you still have your old passenger side headlight assembly?

Oh no good, Im not actually looking for the whole assembly, just the little metal clip that holds in the fog ligh bulb, all pre 98 models hav a clip that is way to big, I took one off of a 97 and it was huge. If you know anyone that has this piece it would be sweet.

I dont have a digital camera, but I will try my best to describe it. This is only for a 98 or newer with halogen lights, not HIDs. If you go into the passenger side headlight assembly, right underneath the lowbeam lightbulb there should be another smaller light. That is the foglight bulb. that bulb is held in place by a small metal clip, about the size of your thumb. It is made out of metal wire, prolly 1/16th of an inch thick. To remove this clip you first have to remove the wires that plug into the bulb. Then pull on the bottom of the clip, it should pop out upwards, then you might have to pry it out of the hinge on the opposite side. Its really pretty easy to find, but i hope you can help me out, i havent been able to find a replacement anywhere, and my father works for a dealer. Its just one of those parts that they dont sell seperatly from the whole assembly. Any help would be much appreicated.

We are not looking for anything too difficult. Just park your car about a car length or so away from your garage door or other suitable wall turn the lights on hig and low beam and take a few happy snaps!
