I HAve Searched And No Found My Particular Question Answered. Now I Know Dynamat Will Stop Trunk and Panel Rattle But Will It Stop The Vibrations That My Subs Send Through The Car? I Have Two 1300Watt 12" Sony P5's And A 1200Watt Amp Pushing Both Of Them. So As You May Know There Are MAssaive Vibrations Shake My Car And Others Around It. My Trunk Rattles A Bit Sometimes. I Just Want To Get Rid Of The Rattle But Not The Vibrations. Will Dynamat End The Rattle, Or Both?

dynomat helps to reduce the amount of rattle, but won't reduce the amount of vibration so to speak. the vibration you get in the passenger cabin space of the car is a combination of SPL (sound preassure level), sound waves traveling through solid substances and simply from air being moved by the driver.

the rattle is a result of that vibration on metal that is allowed to freely resonate and create the rattling sound, rather then being absorbed into the dynamat.

a poor man's alternative to using dynamat - go to home depot and pick up a roll of roofing sealant for tar roofing. the brand name is "water and ice" and is basically the same compound as dynamat and also has a sticky back side for easy installation. an entire roll sets you back about $115 compared to like 5 small sheets of dyna mat for the same price.

i am not a fan of dynamat for the simple fact that you have to heat it up. i use a product called "hush mat" in all of my installs. it is virtually the same thing except no heat or using a roller for installation. simply stick the sheets on and your done. it took out almost 95% of my rattle which was a nightmare before the hushmat. sounds amazing now!

you don't need to buy the "trunk kit". just buy the door kit (10 sheets) and only do the trunk lid and you will have extras sheets to even do the doors if you would like. plus you save cuz the door kit is much cheaper. part # on that is A200 ($90). also get the kit for the license plate too!

that roll of water and ice i was talking about would be enough to cover the entire roof of your house.

the price of $400 for their biggest kit is laughable, but looks exactly like the stuff i've used before.
