Someone wanted to know about the tail light fix I mentioned in another thread.
I have a few pics of the fix. The pics are kinda bare but pretty self explainatory. If anyone needs detailed pics I can post them. Never knew alot of cars tail lights rattled.
Atleast on the 2000 model year, there is a round piece inside the tail light that is attached to the tail light with 3(or maybe 4) very thin & tiny clips. They break easy as I found out, with alot of vibration( plus I am sure the heat from the bulbs & natural drying of the plastic doesnt help). The tail lights are extremely simple to take out requiring a 8mm socket(IIRC there a 7 on each side). The lens comes right out. You will see the round piece clear as day.
Make sure you leave space around the piece. It does need to vent the heat. I just gooped aroung where the tabs were...not a single noise from them except the ocaiosional blown blub.
I have a vid that clearly shows the tail light vibrating if anyone would like it posted..I may do it anyway early tomorrow

Hope this helps a few people get their rattles fixed.

Things like the third light can be fixed using double sided tape, felt insulation(like what is put on windows) just anything that will seperate it from hitting the window.
Is your reard deck fabric lifting up causing the touching?
I know I tried mine firing into the cab through the rear deck. Well luts just say that it works.....too well.

Here is a short vid of the rattle. As can be heard at the very end. My wife was yelling at me to turn it down, because of the vibration in the house.

Edit..
Humm. Just click on the pic. Never had this happen before. I post a link & a pic shows up instead.
