Anyone have the part numbers for the gasket set for the little covers that go on top of the valve covers? They control at the breathing the crankcase does.
I got them to stop leaning pretty good. But the RTV will not last & I need this done ASAP. Loosing about 1 qt oil every 1500 miles.
Here are some pics of what I am talking about. This is drivers sidecover, pass cover the oil fill.

BTW, it is also leaking at the oil filler. I tried to tighten the phillips srew, but no luck on that. DO they sell new ones?

TIA

the oil filler neck and cap can be bought for about 25 dollars. pry the back of the neck up under the tab with a large flathead screwdriver and twist counterclockwise and it will come off. (they leak all the time).

there is no gasket for the baffles on the valve cover. it is just rtv glue. these are notorious for leaking like crap! remove the small torx screws and the two large torx bolts before the actual valve cover bolts. then pry off the baffle. take a flathead again and carefully pry against the fuel rail. it's okay you'll be good. makes it easier to remove then if the whole valve cover is off. to not overtighten the small bolts when reinstalling. they snap very easier and strip the threads!

by the way if your car has some miles on it or if the breather hoses look a little dry, order the 2 on driver's side as they crack during removal sometimes. the one on the passenger side comes off easy!

Mine just are not RTV. Around the permiter yes, but for the bolts it uses rubber gaskets. Mine are shot. I already had my valve covers(I had the proper gaskets for those) & "baffles" off & fixed the leaks, but I want to do the baffles properly.
As for the Oil fill. I can easily take off the fill by loosening the phillips screw underneath(this scared me just a bit). Also the small pin hole line( the one that goes from VC to VC) was completely blocked with oil build up. So I cleared that. I dont know how, but it help my idle quite a bit.

I need the numbers because the dealer here, wants double price for everything. But they will not give me the nomenclature or part numbers so I can order the stuff from the states. I REFUSE to go to this dealer anymore.
As for the lines. I am going SS braided with a catch can(just waiting for it to show up).
