I suggest you try Searching as questions 1, 2, 3, and 5 could be answered with a little reading from this site.

FYI thats 80% of the information you need is already there.

You're on the right track.

The VW harness will work, however you need to swap around the Red and Yellow wires usually. Also, if the deck has an amplifier output and a power antenna output, use the amp output, otherwise your Bose Amp (assuming you have the Bose system) will only turn on with the radio (and not CD/DVD)

The bracket that comes with the headunit should work. It's usually a simple bracket that you bend tabs outword to secure it. Some work better than others.

The external module is a tough one, essentially, wherever you can find room. You could try putting it under the passenger side knee bolster somehow. I'm not familiar with the Jensen one so i don't know it's dimensions. This might take some creativity to mount it.

You might have the Bose amp and you might not. I'm not sure what the year/model cut-off or what not was. The only positive way to know would be to pull off the trunk panel on the left side (near the antenna), and look to see a black mounted amplifier. That would confirm it.

Good luck

Martin

Hey thanks ALot !!!!!

Well i went and checked the speakers in the trunk and it doesnt say bose

looked behind the panels in the trunk on the left side

All i seen is the motor for the antenna
i looked farther down and seen nothing?

does this mean i dont have bose?
im kinda hoping i dont

If i dont have bose i can follow the color pattern except swap red and yellow right:?>

ALso i tried putting my deck in and it fits till it gets to the extra metal peice that goes around it and locks it..

should i take it off ?? then how would it stay if i did

And do i get a vw antenna ??

Thanks martin :)

OoH and lol aha
what should i do for this
solder, crimp, or elc tape the wires

what do you guys like to do

Last clip is for the CD changer. Like I said, wiring diagram explaining this information is on the site.
