Can anyone confirm that this is legit/works well?

eBay Keyless Entry for 202 (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Mercedes-W140-W202-W210-ALARM-REMOTE-ENTRY-ENGINE-START_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33721QQihZ004QQit emZ140064109636QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWD1V)

and if it does...

will it work on my 95 C220?

Thanks,

Mark

Why would you get an ebay alarm? Get a Clifford Matrix 10.5X. basically the same as the RSX3.5 but no Remote Start. And I believe that all alarms will work an ANY Car.

And if I wanted remote start -- what should I go for?

Clifford RSX3.5

But i wouldn't recommend a remote start like some members/people said. The installers should warn you about remote start...

he has the old regular blade key so a remote start will work fine. i've had mine for 3 years - no problems and i use it like 4 times a day, everyday. buy a quality system and have a well known place to the install and you'll be fine. don't go cheap on alarm/remote starts! you get what you pay for!

I had a Viper 791XV.. same company makes clifford now.. great alarm. But now with my C class i want to keep the bladekey and use it to lock/unlock... Can i set the blade key up to do other functions, like click and hold to roll up/down all widows...

They are junk. Go with a good brand like Clifford or Code alarm... You won't regret in the long run.

Definitely investing in a quality alarm is a good thing.

I have a Clifford 3.5 RSX and I love it. I wired it myself along with the remote start. It works great for cold mornings! I also wired the aux functions to roll up/down the windows. It's very flexible, but it's about 10 times the price of that ebay alarm.

Like others said, you get what you pay for (especially with car audio/electronics.)
