no pads .....

i just recently bought my c220 and i cut my stock springs 1 coil but the front did NOT have any front spring pads. is that ok? or do i need put one? i mean i dont hear the springs to metal noise when i drive. if thats what its for to cushion the springs.

Check up inside the spring cup. You should use a pad, prevents netal to metal on the thin steel cup. Use the #1 cups. Availiable from your dealer.
