drivers side visor wont stay up !

my visor will not stay up. but it's not like just flopping down.. its like a spring is holding it down..its not down all the way but half way..

so far ive ghetto rigged it with a big piece of velcro but since its cold out thats not sticking too well..

any suggestions? the garage door opener still works and id hate to mess that up..
