My c230k which just turned 100,000kms is I noticed getting softer on the road. When I had my LCA bushings done not long ago, they did mention the front shocks are going. Is it normal at this mileage? I do notice on the highway when you hit a dip on the road it does bounce like a old caddy....its getting annoying.
Are shocks an issue on this car? Which ones should I go with to change them....OEM or aftermarket? Im keeping stock height.
Thanks guys..

There are some good after market shocks and suspension kits available. I have 153,000kms (95K mi.) and my shocks feel good. However, I do have the sport suspension which uses stiffer suspension components. I believe the sport suspension uses Bilstein shocks.

it's all subjective to the roads in your environment. i'm originally from detroit, and you being from toronto, i would say it's very possible your shocks are due simply because of the age on the car.
after a certain amount of time, and changes from hot/cold they fatigue and break down easier in the northern climates coupled with the harsher roads - so it's not so much about mileage anymore.
