C220 engine (valve cover) polished?

i want to polish my engine valve cover but i want to knw how hard is it going to be?

it looks like ALOT of things are on the way on top of the valve cover

if i take it off do i reuse the valve cover gasket?

I wouldnt reuse the gasket, it cant cost that much and might as well do it and get over it. besides its much nicer woring with clean parts and pieces!

also to prevent the rings around the spark plugs from leaking.
