yep should be fine

i am running 225/35/18 and 265/40/18, i had to do a little mod on the rear arch (took a few mins), but you should be fine with 255\40\18.

i am running H&R`s with #1 pad on front and #2 on the back

I'm running 225x40x18 front 18x8 and 255x35x18 rear 18x9 with #2 pads all around. No problem and still got enough room in the rear for wider tires.

Do you guys also have a 35mm offset for the front? I am running an 18x8 with 225 31offset front, and 18x9 255 35offset rear.

edit: lowering is with H&R's, #1 pad front, #2 pad rear.

A little bit on large dips. I believe it's due to worn shocks. I got new ones, just not in yet. :( Other than that, full turning ability!

Do you have a pic showing off the front? Wanna see how it looks on the car. Hope that made sense.
