Hey guys,

I bought some illuminated sun visors with homelink but they did not come with the metal in the clips or the harness that connects the clips to the roof console.

I have a part number for this part I need but I have called a couple of mercedes dealers and they say it doesn't exist or they can't find it?

Would someone be able to check at their dealership if this part number exists for them and how much it is?

" A 202 810 1212 " Then attached to that number is I think a color code "7D05". Shude on mbclub said it is 13 pounds and he ordered from his dealership in england. Would someone be willing to get this in their next parts order ( I can prepay with PayPal )?

Also, with the homelink function it has the wires and plug for that coming out of the mirror but where do I plug this in? I am assuming my car will need to be pre wired for homelink? Or is the sender in the actual visor?

Thanks.

The Homelink sender is in the visor itself. I tapped 12V from the sunroof controls as this supplies power to the homelink only with the ignition turned on.

Oh okay that's good! I don't have a sunroof though.

I wonder if there is a harness in the A Pillar for this? I assumed it would plug into the overhead console but they are all male plugs and so is the homelink plug.
