Both of them are good prices, but Club202 members get more. ;)

Are these a necessity when lowering the 202? I've often heard it mentioned as such, but figured I'd ask.

It's not a necessity, but tire wear is uneven when car is lowered. This will eliminate that, saving tire costs in the long run.

We do not do installation. If you are in Los Angeles area, we can refer you to a shop.

I can see the need for the rear.

But do you really need a front camber kit?

You do because the fronts will also have uneven wear when lowered. But, it's not as necessary as the rear.

I'm definitely going to get this for the front. I have Jeff's custom kit, and the front's camber is a little too high acording to the speedshop that did the install and does my alignments. Jeff's specs for alignment makes the car feel great. But front camber keeps going out, so I think this should do the trick.

So the kit jeff made you all the same parts in there rear as kmac sells for their own kit? Did the stuff jeff make for you have options to adjust the toe? And on a few side notes... did you get LPA's bushings for the lca, and did you ever get sway and or strut bars from jeff? Were those the only suspension parts jeff has that you don't? Done any other engine mods as of late?

man, you need to get an award for the highest rate of questions per block of characters...! :p

The speedybenz kit doesn't include anything to reduce high camber of a dropped suspension in the front. Front suspension of course already has toe adjustment stock; jeff's kit with the add'l adjustable arms in the rear allows for the all important toe adjustment in the rear.

No, I didn't get/don't have what you mentioned. What's in the kit is in my thread on my purchase & install of it and/or my thread on when I flew out there to meet him and check it out.

Steve,

I need to make some revised upper front spring perches for your car. That will help your front camber problems greatly. I am going to get this done pretty quickly for you. I will email you regarding this seprately.

For the rear, the Camber Arms I make, will allow you to reset the rear camber to better specs. All the W202's come with adjustable rear toe adjustment, stock. It is the very short bar in the rear group of rear suspension links.

Right now I have filled my exisitng orders and can except new orders for camber arms. As for installation it takes about 1 to 2 hours in your garage. You need an 18mm, 19mm and 12mm/12 point socket for the bolt at the hub.

In front, with the Mercedes camber/castor bolts and setting the front toe so that you have minimal toe in you can reduce the front tire wear considerably.

Just email me at: speedyafm2@aol.com. If you would like to order some Parts.

Jeff

Great to hear Jeff and thank you. I want to give you a buzz over the weekend anyway and I hope I remember. And thanks for kindly correcting my accidental dis-information as I didn't realize the stock rear arm for toe gave adjustment stock. I guess thinking it through, it would need to be else the "4 wheel alignment" wouldn't be possible.
