It´s a special oil sold only by dealer.
200 ml costs about 50 or 100 euros.
Do not over fill couse the oil leaks to intake system

Thank you Hokke, wow it's expensive stuff, is there any means of changing the oil or is it just a case of keeping it topped up.

the supercharger oil should be changed every 50k miles regardless of what the dealership says, because like every lubricant it thins and wears out. I never tried it so I cant comment on it, but I heard you can use synthetic 75w-90(or the thinest weight available) gear oil instead.

Aren't these the common Eaton m45 superchargers? If true, you might contact Eaton and ask what they recommend/specify. I bet they can tell you something that costs a lot less than what you have to buy at the MB dealer since these superchargers are used on engines by other manufacturers in adittion to Mercedes.

the oil can be purchased from mercedes dealer. it is a 4oz container if Im not mistaken, and costs about $60 (can)
the container has a mercedes label on the bottle, but if you look closely you can see the under label that says Eaton!! so it is an eaton oil relabeled and sold as a mercedes part.
the supercharger should be removed as it is easier to drain the supercharger, and it should only be refilled to just below the threads in the plug opening for the drain in the supercharger.
check my car domain site for pics of the supercharger and of the oil containier.. you should be able to see a part number for the oil.

Google for it. I have seen the GM oil for the Eton M90 supercharger for as low a $6.99. Don't know if it is the same for the m45, but you can get the specs from Eaton and go from there.
These people have a rather lame website that claims they have the distributorship for Eaton in the U.S. Toward the bottom of the page, you will find reference to their "lubrication service kit." Slammed C's bottle looks suspiciously the same except that his has an MB sticker on it ;)

I bet the oil is the same for all Eaton superchargers so that GM stuff might be a deal if you can get it locally and not have to pay shipping.

ive been reading through and noticed people have been takling about changing the oil in their superchargers? is this really nccessary? ive read else where that they are throughout the lifetime and dont need to be changed, then i read that they need to be changed at 50k, or so, i didnt get a clear understanding of what was up. and i heard that the benz brand was way too overpriced for something i can get cheaper....so is the 75w-90 the way to go for gear oil? or should i go to the magnesum place or something and get it through them, or just say the hell with it and get that GM crap? and is it really neccessary? my car has just hit 80k, and the supercharger seems to be getting a little sloppy recently...like its not on the ball all the time, and i really have to lay the peddle to the floor, but i mean when i do, it actually throws me back in the seat....but its never so much constant...
ok, and the other question was...where the hell am i supposed to be getting this idler pully and assembly? ive been searching around, and cant find a good place...should i just replace it from the dealer? or just get one off ebay? mines making a rattling squeeky noise...so should i just replace the whole thing? (wheel and assembly) or just the free spinning wheel? im a little lost on alll that...thanks in advance
