Do you have single pin retainers or double pin retainers in the rear? What pad configuration did they send you? I could use a set of Axxis single pin retainer pads for my 202. I was under the impression that Axxis did not make an application for single pin retainers. Let me know.

I just ordered some front rotors for my '98 C43 for $129/pair. The sales person told me that they were Brembo. Are they Bull****ing or are they telling the truth? I didn't see a listing for my vehicle on their webpage. DId anyone order any rotors for their C43? I'm just hoping they send the right parts.

make sure they have the rotors in stock. they told me they were out of stock and had to wait 2 weeks. they refunded my money. i couldnt wait and went with stock amg rotors. if you can wait its worth it.

well i don't have a c43 but a 98 c230 , and i need to change the brakes, what do u guys recommend, i don't need anything that's high performance or anything like that, just something that is similar to what came on the car from the factory, except without the stupid dust. and if it's a diy job. thanks:D

Audiophile:

My Porterfield pads leave almost no dust. They're pricey, but I'm much happier with the performance. You can find them at www.porterfield-brakes.com

Well, guess what?! I got a call from irotors and they told me that the "manufacturer" of the rotors were out of stock for a few weeks. I cancelled my order. A rep explained to me that they purchase blank rotors and send them out to be drilled/slotted then zinc coated. I'm kinda pissed off because my brakes are shot and I was expecting to replace them this week.

I'm running Brembo cross-drilled rotors on my C280, and I've been very happy with them. I got mine off ebay, but I think that Tire Rack sells them as well.

OMG guys..i haven't been on club202 for so long..miss you guys..BUT i have ha dthat rotors on over a year now!, and oh yea..by the way....the the front works great!..the rear...well......teh ortor is like bit too big and took lots of mile sof driving to get the sqeeky sound away..so get the front pair and keep teh rear stock.

BUT personally i would go back for the OEM set up, cuz teh OEM actully break much better
