has anyone had any experience with the new clarion indash dvd, mainly the VRX756VD.

its looks really good on the website. its able to do pretty much anything with a few expansions, mainly the 5.1 ability. Im looking for a head unit that has good sounds and picture with the 5.1 option.

thanks

Take a look at the Pioneer AVHP-7800, or even the older 7600 and 7500. Very good units.

wow that thing looks awesome. does the double din separate so that it can fit in our cars?

I have been impressed with Clarion sound quality. I used to have Clarion HX-D10 with their 24 bit DAC. I feel that it sounds better than my older Nakamichi.

As far as multimedia, I can't speak for their products since I have not used any aftermarket multimedia.

no,
it comes in one piece. but our cars can be easily modified to fit a double din head unit. look for threads with people whom had done COMAND. plenty of examples.

yeah but its just soo much of a hassle, and the comad looks incredible when u do it on our 202;s, but installing this din head unit would not go with the interior flow...just my humble opinion...i would personaly go for those kind of screens, especialy the motorised screens were you fix the tilts and depth all by motor
