i was told that magnaflow makes exhaust headers and a complete exhaust system for c230k. i looks on the website but theres nothing? anyone ever had these. i want an exhaust system that will give me the most power with least increase in sound.

no, magnaflow does not make any one single thing for our cars even your c230k, what i am doing is purchasing one of their "Stainless Steel mufflers with tips and getting it custom installed were the current stock muffler is, insatllatin isnt that costly either. some company should step up and make a reasonably priced "cat-back system" for our cars not just a muffler with a one foot pipe attoched to it like remu and super sprint makes, for aroung $400-600 bucks!, i say a full catback from magna flow would be bitchin!! id pay 600-700 for it
check out this thread, you can see the muffler i was talking about and some sounds and info on it

yeh magnaflow mufflers seem pretty good for the price!,iv just ordered a 4x9x18"oval 3"in/3"out and a 5x8x18"oval 3"in 2 x 2 1/4"out,plus twin square DTM tips for the rear...but i have a turbine inline to cut down the noise alittle so it should be tooo bad(figures crossed)

Why not do a SS header and magnaflow exhaust??:)

$900 is alot, $500 installed is what u should be spending, anymore and u are getting ripped off.

2.25" pipe =$40
Muffler..Magnaflow 11385= $80
Labor = $40

A C280(v6) remove cats & "Y". Run 2.25" pipes to a 2.22'' dual in/out magnaflow & turn downs painted black.

My entire exahust (from cat to the rear muffler) was all custom made, Magnaflow cat, no resonator and magnaflow rear muffler. Magnaflow even has SS exhaust tips ala AMG style. Cost me something like $600 for everything installed.

My 500e sounds like a Corvette now, couldn't be any happier.

I know, I did header back on my BMW E30 racecar and it cost less than $500 installed and that included all the y-pipes, mandrel bent sections, piping, 22" resonator, and the catback muffler section w/ tips :)

www.justmagnaflow.com

cheapest online distributor for magnaflow products. Most of the parts are discounted 30-50% off magnaflow MSRP AND the best part is shipping is free and included in the price :) . talk about cheap. Thats how i did everything for under $500 installed ($120 of that was labor).

Summit racing also beats any advertised price on any other website etc...

infact out of the 10-15 sites i contacted from magnaflows website, only two replied regarding the parts i wanted with shipping to New Zealand...one wanted me to spend at least 500 and have it wired...and the other(summit racing) said no problem heres your shipping and parts quote, which i was able to pay by visa, and that was that.

Well whatever exhaust you end up going with im sure it will benifit you to do a little more research into which one you really want and find some nice tips. Just get it done at a muffler shop.
I have personally heard 2phast's car, my dad owns a Mercedes shop and is currently in for service and i had the liberty of hearing this true beast! Then again that is a V8..:cool:

I run supersprint mid pipe and exhaust. I am sure if you add the headers too.. it will be a sweet setup. I picked SS because it's direct bolt-on. If you are going with custom, magnaflow should give you some deeep sound. I had one done to my infiniti.
