So the project car made a turn again, and we are going to keep the M104 power plant and proceed with stroking it out, etc etc... ;)

After compairing valve covers to the 3.2 swap that we did on the C280, I would really like to switch my 2.8 cover over, since routing cables in the 3.2 cover is so much easier/stealthy looking.

I know the 2.8/3.2/3.6 valve covers all share the same gaskets and such, but does anyone know if the internal structures are the same/clear the cams? Anyone done the swap before?

I dont see how they could be differn't. The cams are the same diameter. The gears would also be the same size.

Thats my thought as well...

Just wanna make sure before I pawn off a loved one to order a valve cover from 'Benz, just to have it hit something :D

Honestly I love that black strip down the middle on the 2.8 cover, kinda like the C36 cover.

I went there in search of a bumper and this teenage white boy tryna act all super smart on me telling me to pay $400 for a front bumper I really felt like reaching over the counter and lights out for him ! I hate that place - they think they are a dealership or something! they need a reality check!
