Trying to get this oil offffff

I duno what happen but theres some kind of oil thats under the hood (cloth like) cover, forgot what its called. i've tried everything to get it off, and still the oil is still on there. any ideas?

Simple green/heavy engine degreaser.
High pressure wash.

Go to the local cash wash. Pop the hoo spray the heat barrier. Let it soak while the engine cools( about 20 minutes). Then spray with hi pressure rinse. Then wash youe engine & car afterwards.

If you dont want to do that. Just buy a new one from the dealer.

But the big question is.....
How did it get there? Is something leaking to cause it?

I tried that and still won't come off, i even tried the ZEP purple stuff, and that was consintrated. its friggin $100 dollars for a new one (with my dealer price, god friggin dam), its making the paint on the engine start to bubble.
