I run 0w-40 mobile 1 synthetic on my 1999 C230 Kompressor.

Yes, so do I, but imagine the added heat viscosity on the oil. Our cars are made to be driven flat out, and is done so in Europe and having the additional 10 will I only benefit the motor. What a nice wide range, covers all the bases. Winter through the summer heat.
