What lubricant(s) is(are) recommended when doing the things other than the oil change during the A and B service, please? The Haynes manual gives some generic answers (quoted in parenthesis) but I would like to know recommended types/brand names.

1. hinges, locks ("light general purpose oil") - Triflo with Teflon OK?
2. sunroof ("multipurpose grease") - white lithium grease OK?
3. hood release ("suitable grease") - white lithium grease OK?

4. throttle linkage ("clean engine oil") - Can someone please describe the procedure to lubricate the throttle linkage? The Haynes manual says the control pressure cable for an auto tranny should be lubricated too.

lithium grease should suffice for most of them except for the throttle linkages. on there I would use bearing grease, mainly because its thicker than lithium and wont run-off.
