C280 Sport 99 V6 Oil Capacity

What is the oil capacity and how do you get the filter off? Thanks IN Advance...:)

Oil capacity should be listed in your Owner's Manual. I'm guessing it's around 6 quarts.

As for your filter, where is it located? I cannot remember when the filter got changed over to the front. After you unscrew the filter cap, is your filter on a little stick with rubber seals? If so, you just pull it off.

i put 8.2 quarts when i do the oil changes on the V6 engines but anywhere between 8 to 8.5 quarts will be perfect. the filter is located on the front of the engine (top) by the oil cap. either buy the tool to remove the filter cap from the dealer, on-line, or a universal one from your local parts store.

Well heres the deal we only filled it with 6 quarts last night and couldn't get the filter off with anything....and the oil light went off once and i got concerned....lol so he's 2 quarts under...thanks :)
