Has anyone got any pics of these wheels on a W202??

Im planning a set of 18"s and not sure what to get, i like the monoblock II's also......... if anyone's got pics of these, or any other wheels that really suit the W202 please post them up :)

Would be good to have a thread with all the different alloys people have put onto W202's as a comparison. Iv searched the gallery threads but cant find the turbine design alloys fitted.... is it because they look gash?

Thanks!

I dont think they suit the C-Class though... Maybe the SLK and SL Classes. Also these are 19s as I state below, not 18s.

:( i think you're right........ lovely alloys but dont fit the look of the car. might just have to go with the monoblocks, unless anyone's got any other good suggestions?

I dont want it to look really custom, just some smarter, larger alloys that don't detract from the look of the car.

go for them, youll be different, and thats always cool. i no the monoblocks are awesome, i love them, but a change is always nice, besides they look stock, with these they keekp that nice euro-stock look but with a little bit of the aftermarket cool-factor., also the 19s on that car look to big in my opinion, otherwise awesome

yeah, would only go to 18"s..... the roads here are poor! what else would i need to complete the setup? a lowering suspension kit, spacers, different thickness pads?

Havent slammed a benz before, my old pugeot was easy as hell - cut the springs and play with the torsion bar :D though i dont think that's adequate now iv got a proper car!

I like em on the car in the pictures myself, the only thing that makes me dissagree is that these wheels are not fit with the cars identity... Cause hey, slam almost any wheel on any car and it will look at least nice. IMO thats not it, theres more to it. Im out of time, Im @ work...

ya i agree, they are nice but there are better choices out there (try HRE or even Maya rims)

Also i noticed that car has dual exhaust. does any one know how they did that cuz on mine the gas tank and tow are in the way on the right side.

Haha, always laugh when you see those cars on a cold morning........... smoke coming out of one side only!

I really like the rims Frenchy (i think) has on his car, believe e original mercedes too..... big thick 5 spokes. saw them a while ago but havent found the thread since :(

I'll look up some HRE and Maya rims, im in the UK but hopefully they're available here too!

Cheers :)

I personaly think the Axis Milano (http://images.search.yahoo.com/search/images/view?back=http%3A%2F%2Fimages.search.yahoo.com%2Fs earch%2Fimages%3Fp%3Daxis%2Bmilano%2Brims%26ei%3DU TF-8%26fr%3Dyfp-t-501%26x%3Dwrt&w=109&h=100&imgurl=www.axiswheels.com%2Fwheels%2Faxis_milano_s m.jpg&rurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.axiswheels.com%2Fwheels%2Fax iswheels.html&size=4.1kB&name=axis_milano_sm.jpg&p=axis+milano+rims&type=jpeg&no=3&tt=47&oid=4ce7e2725d701d96&ei=UTF-8) rims are perfect for the 202

HRE (http://images.search.yahoo.com/search/images/view?back=http%3A%2F%2Fimages.search.yahoo.com%2Fs earch%2Fimages%3Fp%3Dhre%2520rims%26fr%3Dyfp-t-501%26toggle%3D1%26ei%3DUTF-8%26fr2%3Dtab-web&w=110&h=110&imgurl=www.autowerxinc.com%2Fimages%2Fthumbs%2Fhre _545r.jpg&rurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.autowerxinc.com%2Fwheels.htm %3Fman_id%3D68&size=4.5kB&name=hre_545r.jpg&p=hre+rims&type=jpeg&no=17&tt=523&oid=a2f4ec8ba475a8dc&ei=UTF-8)

Cheers for the links :)

You're right, i think five spokes fit the W202 very well, i like the idea of having mercedes wheels more than aftermarket ones though......... wanna keep it true to its roots as much as possible!

Although i guess if i find nice aftermarket rims there's always the option of changing the centre caps :D
