I think my Front end needs some help or will be soon. Aren't the lower A-arm bushings the ones that wear out? Thanks!

Just got my A-arms re-bushed! No noise rolling in reverse w/ the brakes applied & also the car sits higher?? Well I'm dropping it next week to solve that!!

Due to some clocking noise running on bad surfaces (i.e.: potholes) I've changed mine at about 70000 Km, together with steering dumper.

Unfortunately my problem still persist:hmmm:

Mine were replaced @ the 120k service, the last service in the now-expired motorplan. They also replaced the steering damper and the front discs while they were @ it.

Dont you just need a hydrolic press to replace the bushing, to push it out and then new ones in again.

How do you know when you nedd to replace the bushings????

I had the car up on the life, took a pry bar and wedges the lower control arm and bushing and it moved really easily. I can see the rubber all cracked and stuff.

I think you can tell when you drive on the highway, the faster you go, the scarier the steering, it feel like the car wants to go where it wants too, especially over the littliest bumps.

Aftermarket company needs to make a stiff poly-ureathane replacement set ( or MB needs to) for a final one time correction for this issue. I heard avg life on bushings is only like 30K miles between replacements. That is gay!!!!!!!!! My car had 36,000 on it when I got it & they were bad!

Three point, who replaced your bushings?

You know that when you tighten the bushing up, the car should be at ground level and not in the air right? Tightening them up in the air will cause then to fail real fast.

As well, the bushing is suppose to contain some sort of fluid, maybe that's why there are no aftermarket bushings for it.
