Ok, weird.. had the car in for service to replace a flex disk and they also saw that the motor mounts were shot so they fixed those too...

Now, before i took the car in, my temp gauge wasnt working AT ALL, and my fuel gauge was on and off... but now, after the service, the service manager tells me that both gauges work perfectly and he can't duplicate my problem.

Could there be a way that the gauges are related to the motor mounts being shot and/or replacing a bad flex disk?

Engine mounts, ofcourse could cause the problem. When the engine moves it could be just enought to pull on the wires to cause an intermittent problem.

You may want to have the connectors/harness looked at to make sure they were not damaged. They may work now, but they may have been damaged or worn, by the excessive flexing of the engine. I have seen this MANY times on may different vehicles. Ground wires partially torn, injector wires almost ripped out, ect..

Just give a good sound check to the entire harness.

Well that makes sense... i'll have to look into it to make sure everything is OK.

Thanks
