Engine oil light on after cornering

Hi all,

I'm coming into a little weird problem..

My low engine oil light comes on for about 20-30 seconds after some spirited cornering to the right.. Perhaps a freeway off-ramp loop, perhaps a quick sweeping right turn.. After turning, the light comes on about 5 seconds after the corner and stays on for half a minute.. Anyone else have this problem?

It's been about 5600 miles since my last oil change, and I have one scheduled for next week already, but just wanted to know if anyone else has this same problem, or could think of why I'm having this problem?

I hope I'm not burning oil.....

if your oil level is low, that will happen.

You drive a German car so it is burning oil! Thats one reason I think they last longer, the walls and pistons always are lubed.

I've had this issued before after a long cruise with my club. Lots of high speed and cornering and my engine oil light came on. It's because you are slinging around the oil in the engine so it fools the sensor. I took mine to the dealer and they found nothing wrong with the car, it was just the sensor and they replaced it.
