the dude said he would fix it for free and bend a new pipe, but i had it done at my parents area where i used to work, i live 2 hours away, and im only up here till tomorrow, and hes like booked, so i dont really feel like coming all the way back up here to fix that..and i dont really want to wait to have it fixed, so i might just go buy gas for my welder and get a small pipe section, but it out....blah i dunno, i just know it kinda looks odd...Got the wheels on ebay super cheap, in great shape, just the tires are wrecked, and im a little broke right now, so the tires will have to wait:beard:

I see that the #1 seems to be a lot thinner than the #3 pad. Do you think you will see a lower stance buy changing only pads?

Also, could you circle where the pads are located from one of your suspension pics? It would help me to see what size pad i have on my car.

the pads are located at the top of the springs, inside that upside down cup thing, as for the stance, i dont think it really lowered it down much at all, maybe a tiny bit, but it was only 12 bucks for them at the stealership

There are 4mm differences in thickness from oen pad to the next. Going from #3 to #1 will approximately lower 8mm.

actually, i mean, it didnt slam it completly by changing out the pads, but id have to say it did lower it a bit more, maybe a .25 to .5 an inch from where it was...but totally, if your trying to lower your stock suspension, just buy some springs

its Magnaflow, part number 14861 cost me 95 buck-a-roonies, its a little too loud for my taste, is there anyway i could baffle the sound a bit without blocking the airflow?

do you need to buy any special tools to install the shocks and springs?

well it would have been nice to have the Mercedes spring compressor, but those are around 500 bucks though, but they are nice, yo can remove the spring without removing the control arm, i only took out the eccentric bolts from the control arms and had a jack under it to allow the spring to n-compress, and i pulled it out, and pulled the shock out, its really easy.

I have the same exact muffler installed a week ago and a local muffler shop installed it that it points to the left a bit :bored: and not pointing straight out. Couldn't sleep thinking that it is not straight - will have to have it fixed eventually.

As for sound, on mine, it sounds great right after you start your engine when it's idle but between 1.5 to 2.5 rpm, it gets a bit loud that it is starting to annoy me. From 3 rpm and up it sounds okay again. Oh well, will give it a couple more weeks and see if I get accustomed to the louder sound.

Cool wheels BTW

yeah im not too sure how im feeling about it, im debating on actually buying a remus setup or supersprint, although, since the car is a 4 Banger, i wonder if it will really sound any better? well at least not as loud is better...
