hey guys,

I got all new led's for the interior and license plate, my order kinda got messed up with 3 of the led's but other than that they look great.

The problem is with the rear interior trunk light, when it is in place it is always on! When you press in the trunk close switch, it dims to half the strength of the led's then when you let go it goes really bright?

So some how it is getting power all the time? The normal festoon bulb that was in there doesn't act like this when I put it in. So is this because the bulb doesn't have metal triangular connecors, but the thin metal hoop / ring connectors?

They sent me the wrong interior trunk bulb I was supposed to get one with triangular connectors but they sent the one with hoops. I have contacted them awaiting response.

Sent me this:

Instead of one of these:

but I don't know if this would cause the always on problem?

Thanks.

I wanted to get those bulbs but I have heard from others that the hyper white bulbs for your license plate and interior will melt the wiring in your vehicle...Can anyone confirm this?

hmm I don't know about that, how could these bulbs melt the wiring? they don't use as much power as the other bulbs and are room temperature when you touch them compared to the hot bulbs that are standard.

Can you post a pic of the interior at night w/ the LED lights on so we can see how it looks?

hm, not bad, but i'm not so sure i'd want the lights to be brighter... the stock ones are perfect as far as brightness goes, i mean if i want to see something in the dark i don't want the entire car lit up like a football field or something.

Yeah they are actually a bit less brighter, if not the same brightness as the original festoon bulbs that were in there. I was just making that point as the picture quality is really shit, it looks like the back seat isn't even lit up lol.

Did you get those from the seller 1SIKBNZ bought from?

What were the size # or bulb # of the bulbs?

How much were they?

I bought mine from autolumination.com

And I used 39 mm and 41 mm I think, it's best to measure up your bulbs!
