I've searched the threads and there's a lot of talk of how to program these things. but my car didn't come with an integrated homelink system. i would like the one in the visor. Is it possible for me to get that in my car? it's a 95 c280. How do i hook up the homelink. i've searched around and i can't seem to find the visor with the homelink in it. does anyone have the part number for it or something? any help would be much appreciated. thanks

I have added the Homelink into my 96 C36. At least in my C36 it was not prewired for the Homelink. First you will need the visors themselves. I believe there are two wires which come off the driver's visor with the homelink. One is ground the other 12V power. The trick is to tap into the sunroof motor wire or another switched 12V.

oic. so it doesn't sound too tricky to wire it up. all you need is a power source then huh? homelink is the garage door opener thing. do you know the part number for the visor or where i can get it for cheap? thanks
