So last night was no fun, I was driving my friend home, and then decided to go to Walgreen's to see if they had something to eat, on the way home after making a left turn from a stop light and continuing straight for about a millisecond the car pulls hard to the right, so counter steer, fishtail, then I'm heading for a building, brakes and hard turn, hop the curb and puled the ball joint right out.

Pics a little hard to make out but basically if you look at the wheel thats some pretty bad toe angle. Any ideas, on what to expect as far as repairs and cost?
On the brighter side here's my MB Quart sound components.

They are in the front door's. there 6 1/2's. Just need to amp them and they will sound golden, but minor setback up there will deff delay for a couple months probably.

No idea, I could of been going 30 tops (if that) maybe just the way i took the corner (turning left onto the road caused it to be a little sharper as the intersection wasnt like 90degrees if you know what I mean.) and the weight shifting. Guess my hand jsut rocked with the car pulling it to the right. I really don't know what the hell happened.
Yeah would of really sucked if I hit anything at all other than the curb, Got away with no body damage and everything seemed fine, other than the fact that the rear wheel isn't in the axle, guess it just depends on the extent of the damage, wheel is still connected, guess I get new rims, springs, and shocks.

Driver error of some kind. Went to look at it today in the light and it looks pretty bad. Think it would be cheaper to have rear ended someone than this might cost to fix. How depressing.

Lost control of a powerslide with one spinning wheel (wish we had an LSD) at 30 mph? mmmmm that is weird. Good luck with the quote.

New road and old tires, guess I was a little heavier on the gas then maybe. Trying to remember if my ESP was on.

damn, glad the damage was kept to a minimal, and you did not end up slamming on the wall or another car...

Yeah as minimal as could be. Shop just opened today and The Control arm ripped out of the subframe, and My back left wheel is destroyed also front left if dented and god knows what else in the rear. Any know about how much they raise your insurance if you claim. I pay about 4000 a year already (no accidents or tickets just I'm 18 and am on my own premium. If my insurance raises to crazy I will just not make a claim. Anyone know???

Here's a pic I got while it was on the lift.

quote was $2500 pretty much Out the door.
Question I can get the whole assembly with or without the differential (With if I feel mine was damaged by the impact and not if I feel mine is fine) (mine currently works, but if it is damaged and I drive it and blah blah replace part later plus other parts it could mess up=more than $400) It's 400 dollars difference and was wondering what everyone thought. Mine only has 15,000 miles on it, will try to find out about the donor car's miles.
Hmmmmm. wonder if the clip he's getting is from a sport or not, can any one tell me what all the differences are between a sport and a regular, is it just springs and shocks or is it completely different? I'll do some searching.
