I've noticed that some of my stock Bose speakers don't work.

I remember somebody saying that the amps tend to go bad and that a symptom may be that you lose speakers.

1. How can I check the amp to make sure its fully functional?

2. Where can I purchase a new amp?

Thanks for your help!

Is it just me but doesnt it seem like there is one Bose post a week on this forum? LOL.

Your problem lies mostlikely with a amp and its bad capacitors.

I had bose in my '91 Maxima, too, and surprise surprise, it totally sucked there, too. So when are carmakers going to learn that bose makes a product with a short life expectancy relative to the vehicle it travels in?

But yeah...How do I check the capacitors?
